Con 9 statuette, tra cui quella per il miglior musical, "The Book of Mormon" è il trionfatore della sessantacinquesima edizione dei Tony Award, i più ambiti riconoscimenti del teatro americano, la cui serata di gala, presentata da Neil Patrick Harris,  si è svolta ieri sera al Beacon Theatre di New York . Miglior musical revival è "Anything Goes". Premi anche a "Catch Me If You Can", "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying" e a "Priscilla Queen of the Desert"; nessun riconoscimento a "Sister Act". Per quanto riguarda la prosa, grande sconfitto è Al Pacino, cui i giurati hanno preferito Mark Rylance.
